The Light Vehicles - Operation on Sites Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) outlines the main hazards and risks associated with the operation of light vehicles (including 4WD) on construction, maintenance and surface mining sites including risk of collision with other vehicles (including heavy vehicles) and mobile plant, stationary objects, and single vehicle incidents due to poor road or driving conditions, improper or unsafe operation, and lack of or improper traffic management.
