The Electric Welding (MIG) Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) outlines the main hazards and risks associated with the operation of electric welders utilising a wire feed and inert gas shielding. This SWMS can also be applied to other similar wire welding processes (e.g., TIG, etc.).
The SWMS provides details of safety inspections required of the plant before use, and the safety precautions to be observed when using electric MIG welders.
