The Pest Control Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) outlines the main hazards and risks of the handling and use of commercial pesticides used for the control of insects, rodents and other pest species in commercial and residential premises, including exposure to hazardous chemicals, work in occupied premises, work at heights and working in outdoor conditions.
The SWMS provides details of the health and safety precautions (including protective clothing and PPE) necessary for pest control work.
