The Flood Damage and Clean Up Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) outlines the main hazards and risks associated with clean up operations following flooding of properties caused by storm, cyclone, etc. and other inundation (tidal, etc.) including hazardous manual tasks, electricity, chemicals, asbestos, biological hazards and risk of falls.
The SWMS provides details of the health and safety precautions (including protective clothing and PPE) required during flood clean up operations and activities.
