The Concrete Boom Pump Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) outlines the main hazards and risks associated with work carried out when using concrete placing boom plant and equipment when placing large quantities of concrete used for construction of residential premises or commercial and industrial buildings, and civil engineering projects including the use of plant and equipment, and the likelihood of exposure to risks of over-exertion and strain injury when handling plant, equipment and mass concrete.
The SWMS provides details of the health and safety precautions (including personal protective equipment requirements) to be observed when carrying out when pumping and placing concrete using concrete boom pumping equipment and associated tasks.
