The Chemical Spraying (Aerial) Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) outlines the main hazards and risks when using aircraft-borne spray equipment to apply chemicals (including pesticides and herbicides) including exposure to hazardous chemicals, hazardous manual tasks, work in outdoor conditions and working near sensitive or protected areas.
The SWMS provides details of the health and safety precautions (including protective clothing and PPE) required to safely carry out aerial chemical spraying.
