The Automotive Electrical Work Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) outlines the main hazards and risks associated with auto=electrical maintenance and repairs to light and heavy vehicles, and light plant carried out in a workshop or on-site, including risks from movement of mobile plant, work in or near traffic, hazardous manual tasks, exposure to hazardous chemicals, and working in outdoor conditions.
The SWS provides details of the health and safety precautions (including protective clothing and PPE) required to safely carry out automotive electrical work.
